Yakov Osipovich Rubanchik

Yakov Osipovich Rubanchik was a Soviet architect active in the early to mid-20th century, born in 1899 in Taganrog. He graduated from the Higher Art and Technical Institute in Leningrad in 1928. In the 1930s, Rubanchik was a member of the Association of New Architects (ASNOVA). He designed many factory-kitchen buildings in Leningrad. From 1933 to 1941, he worked as the director of Workshop 1 of the State Institute of Urban Design. He died in 1948 in Leningrad.
